  • Mains Multiplier Myni | Essential Audio Tools

It's all in the name, essential audio tools for your hi-fi. Better reproduction means more involvement, that is why our products are focused on the power supplied to your equipment. Only when good care is taken for the power supply, you will benefit from all details in your music. Mains Multiplier Myni 1/5 What to expect? An improvement in dynamics , a much better sound image and a lower hum level . The sound character of your audio system remains, fortunately. By using the Mains Multiplier Myni with integrated Pulse Protector your equipment has less trouble with electrical failures induced by distortion on your power network and it is better protected against damage through lightning impact nearby. A guarantee that lightning impacts will not damage your devices can not be given because the energy-content is too high. Where to use? Wherever you need to connect a maximum of 4 devices to the mains, the Mains Multiplier Myni is the best choice. Of course you will have to use high performance power cords, else the multiplier will not perform at its best. It's a combination of factors; only if you use the multiplier in combination with high performance power cords you will achieve the maximum results for your audio system. It is possible to use the Mains Multiplier Myni as an ordinary multiple socket without high performance power cords, but this will not give you optimal results. Our advice is to use our Current Conductor S and Myni Conductor cables , the result will be rewarding. Unique output connectors The Mains Multiplier Myni uses unique output connectors never seen before in high end audio power strips. The type of outputs is chosen because of the small size, reliability, high contact pressure and excellent contact surface which create a low resistance value. This is essential for great power distribution. This high quality synthetic material combines superior electric isolation with low vibration properties. The Multipliers also have shock absorbing feet to suppress mechanical vibrations. Wiring for phase, neutral and earth is connected by a star principle; every outlet has its own wiring towards the inlet. Peaks in the current or interference signals that appear on the contacts of one socket will have less effect on the other sockets. An integrated ‘Pulse Protector’ prevents peaks and pulses to reach your audio equipment. For more information read about the Pulse Protector elsewhere on this site. Two outputs are fitted with high frequency (HF) filters which contribute to a natural sound and detailed image. These filtered outlets can be used to connect analogue and digital audio equipment. The Mains Multiplier Myni is specifically designed to be positioned next to your audio equipment . This is possible by an integrated copper cage of Faraday -which blocks incoming and outgoing electromagnetic fields- preventing distortion having a negative effect on your sound quality. This luxurious addition is one of a kind within the world of high end audio in this price range. The results speak for themselves; optical as well as electrical. Fuse h older The Mains Multiplier Myni has a built-in slot for a fuse. This fuse, additional to the pulse protector inside, will protect your equipment and the multiplier itself from malfunctions. The slot is easily accessible from the top of the product. When replacing the fuse, make sure the multiplier is disconnected from the mains supply. Size DOES matter Everything always appears larger in pictures than they are in reality. That is why we can't emphasize this enough; the Mains Multiplier Myni is the smallest high end audio power strip in the world . In combination with the copper cage and flexible cables you are able to place this product right next to your audio equipment. + + + 1.5m input cable 50cm output cable 75cm output cable C13 input The Mains Multiplier Myni is supplied with a Current Conductor S power cord. Additionally, we've also included two Myni Conductor IEC output cables for the connection between the Mains Multiplier Myni and your audio equipment. Click to download Mains Multiplier Myni manual

  • Current Spyder | Essential Audio Tools

The use of good quality power cords (with well designed screening) gives the music a neutral sound and opens up many details. The Current Spyder L will improve your soundstage. Current Spyder 1/2 Features Two layers of screening No external field around power cord Connectors with high contact pressure and excellent contact surface Can easily transport high currents without power loss Protects your equipment by the Pulse Protector inside Reduces cable mess Twisted OFC Copper stranded wires Very transparent sound due to at least 50% less contact joints compared to multiple sockets More rest in quiet music parts, more details and improved soundstage Working principle Without noticing we are in a very polluted environment. Everywhere around us fields arise from currents flowing through conductors, signals from radio stations, mobile phones, WiFi and other communication networks. Electromagnetic interference is not visible to us, it's just there. Each device using energy causes fluctuations on the network in the form of peaks or surges, or causes a variation in the electromagnetic fields in the air. The effects occur around the device itself and on its mains supply, but even far away from the device the fields are still measurable. This can only be measured with suitable equipment, not with our ears. Common thought is that shielded power cords protect the connected devices better against influences from outside, which is true. Much more important is that the field created by the fluctuating current inside the power cord itself does not reach interlinks and speaker cables in the neighbourhood. Interlinks transport small signals to audio devices with a high input resistance. This high input resistance makes equipment extremely sensitive to interferences. Many power cords for audio purposes look beautiful, just like ours. But appearance is not all! The Current Spyders use dual shielded cables . The outside shield is NOT braided steel (a steel screening does not function as a shield but is meant to protect the cable against physical force). Instead, the Current Spyder cables have a braided high density COPPER screen with a layer of tin which prevents oxidation. Under the tinned copper shielding lies a 100% closed aluminium foil for suppression of high frequencies . In contradiction to a synthetic foil, this solution works! The OFC (Oxygen Free Copper) stranded wires are suitable to conduct high currents without resistive losses (the losses of energy in the form of heat). The earth wire is connected at both sides, the shield is only connected at the feeding side, as it is supposed to be. The connectors provide high contact pressure and excellent contact surface which results in optimal conductivity . Finally, we gave the plug a nice CNC machined hood. When you have 4 devices to connect to the mains supply, please have a look at our Mains Multiplier Myni. Clever thinking! The idea is simple: a power cord with at one end a single power plug and at the other end three output cables with IEC connectors. The primary cable is available in two lengths (75 and 150cm) and the secondary cables are available in lengths of 20, 30 and 40cm or 3x 40cm, so if you have a stacked set of equipment the Current Spyder L will hang down without taking a lot of space behind your set. The result: reduced cable mess and much better performance. The Current Spyder L (on purpose with 'y', just because we like it) is equipped with a Pulse Protector to protect your valuable audio equipment . Current Spyder L (type A) Current Spyder L (type B) Choose out of four different types: Current Spyder L A75, primary 75cm, secondary 20, 30, 40cm Current Spyder L A150, primary 150cm, secondary 20, 30, 40cm Current Spyder L B75, primary 75cm, secondary 3x 40cm Current Spyder L B150, primary 150cm, secondary 3x 40cm Where to use The Current Spyder L not only makes audio sets perform better , it also reduces the visible cable mess . The relationship with your life-partner will become much better. Probably you can give hints to have this for your birthday! The Current Spyder L is designed to feed audio equipment standing on top of each other. Thus, the Spyder will hang down and disappear behind the set while lowering the external fields . What to expect The result of using our Current Spyder L can vary from small changes to big surprises. The most heard improvement is the quietness in silent parts of the music as well as more noticeable details and more holographic soundstage . A high quality recording with on average a low volume and high dynamics will benefit most from the lowered background noise. This background is most described by our users as "dark" and "deep". Phase-Neutral, Fase-Earth and Neutral-Earth 250 Volt 2500 Volt 4500 Ampere 3x65 Joule <25 nanoseconds 2 Ampere 6 Ampere Specifications Protecting: Maximum voltage: Maximum peak voltage: Maximum peak current: Maximum peak energy: Response time: Maximum current per output: Maximum total current: When you have 4 devices to connect to the mains supply, please have a look at our Mains Multiplier Myni. It is possible to use a Mains Multiplier 6+ as an ordinary multiple socket without high performance power cords, but this will not give you optimal results. Our advice is to upgrade to our Current Conductor cables , the result will be rewarding. Clever phase indicator The Mains Multiplier 6+ has a very clever way to indicate that it is connected to the mains supply the right way. Two LEDs will show you if the Mains Multiplier 6+ has an input voltage, if earth connection is present and if the mains supply's phase is connected properly. When the Mains Multiplier 6+ is connected the right way, you will see two green lights. If one light is off or one light is red, something is wrong with your connection. Have a look at the image for an explanation of the different indications. Working princ ipl e Our Mains Multipliers are not just regular multiple sockets but more works of art made with a precision CNC machine that shapes the forms out of POM-C. The type of the six schuko sockets is chosen because of the high contact pressure, which is obvious when putting in or pulling out a power plug. More contact pressure and an excellent contact surface do create a low resistance value which is essential for great power distribution. The results speak for themselves; optical as well as electrical. Unique Ground-Bridge selector The Mains Multiplier 6+ and Mains Multiplier 8+ have a special feature. This unique feature is called a ground bridge . It offers you the option to connect to an external earth instead of the earth from the wall socket which is shared with all other devices in your house. In most cases this external earth is a special copper electrode placed deep into the ground, outside your house, preferably it is used for your audio only. With the Ground-Bridge placed between the black and the green connector the Mains Multiplier 6+ is connected to the wall socket earth. With the Ground-Bridge placed between both black connectors you can feed the external earth to the green connector on your Mains Multiplier 6+. Wall socket earth selected External earth selected Filters The Mains Multiplier 6+ has two output groups. Group I has four unfiltered outputs, they are wired directly to the mains input. You can connect heavy loads to this group, like high power amplifiers and heavy subwoofers. Group II has two outputs, both have their own individual Common Mode (CM) + Differential Mode (DM) filter. This group is meant to connect equipment like pre-amplifiers, digital surround processors, light to medium subwoofers, integrated amplifiers and light to medium power amplifiers. • Noise Eater | Essential Audio Tools

The Noise Eater is a parallel filter, this means that the mains supply current which feeds your audio equipment will not flow through the components of the filter. In fact the filter is only 'monitoring' the mains supply and then traps the distortion signals. Currents will not slow down and the distortion will be gone! Noise Eater 1/3 Benefits Parallel filter which doesn't slow down currents Multiple filter stages Small investment for performance Protection against spikes between phase and neutral Many disturbances in audio performance will disappear More rest in quiet music parts and more details Your soundstage will be more transparent Review by stereolife.pl "I encourage hi-enders to try the Noise Eater, it works. Exactly as the manufacturer claims." Click here for review Review by hifi.nl "An improvement that becomes audible as cleaner and quieter, freed from harsh sounds if they are not in the music." Click here for review What to expect? The Noise Eater removes disturbances and noise from the mains supply. Because the mains current "passes-by" the filter it will not produce noticeable heat. The sound character of your system will certainly not change, but the calmness in the sound and the stability of the image will be very noticeable, especially during working hours when there are more disturbance on the mains supply. The Noise Eater is a small investment with maximum performance . The difference is audible immediately! Where to use? Like the Pulse Protector , the Noise Eater also has to be placed close to the audio equipment, preferably in the same (double) wall socket feeding the power strip, else in the power strip itself feeding your audio equipment. The Noise Eater can be used for devices as CD-players, D/A-converters, tuners, phono stages, but also (integrated) amplifiers will benefit , even large ones! Several Noise Eaters in one (wall) socket is in most cases useless, multiple Noise Eaters throughout your house is a good idea, but feel free to do experiments… The Noise Eater is not critical to phase, you can just plug the Noise Eater in the wall socket or power strip. Phase-Neutral 250 Volt 2500 Volt 4500 Ampere 65 Joule <25 nanoseconds 39.5mm diameter x 129mm (without pins) 240 gram Specifications Protecting: Maximum voltage: Maximum peak voltage: Maximum peak current: Maximum peak energy: Response time: Filters frequencies above audio spectrum Dimensions: Weight: Working principle Interferences mostly arise on the power network when switching a device on or off, but the disturbances can also be induced by industry in the neighbourhood or elevators in the building. Also computers, refrigerators, washing machines, dryers, switching power supplies, power drills and many other to the mains supply connected appliances can cause interferences. Low distortion on your mains supply is hard to detect, you need assistance of special measurement equipment. The effect of the distortion however is very audible. You need a special filter to clean your mains supply without slowing down currents . The Noise Eater is a parallel filter , this means that the mains supply current which feeds your audio equipment will not flow through the components of the filter. In fact the filter is only 'monitoring' the mains supply and then traps the distortion signals . Currents will not slow down and the distortion will be gone! The circuit has multiple filter stages that have been extensively tested , to ensure the sound character of the music remains intact . The Noise Eater also has an overvoltage protection between phase and neutral that converts each pulse above 250 Volt into thermal energy. The circuit itself has been poured into resin to prevent it from vibrating. Even the shell of the Noise Eater is a solid piece of POM-C material brought into shape by a CNC machine and lathe. The Noise Eater IS not just a great filter….. it also has the LOOKS of a great filter! Checking out the phase of your mains supply and protection against pulses are also beneficial for your audio system. These benefits can be achieved with our Sound Saver and our Pulse Protector .

The upmost effect can be obtained when all power cords from consuming devices are replaced. The external fields will thus be much lower, reaching acceptable values and causing less interference. Power cords close to interlinks are even more important. They should be replaced, especially when the signal transport is unbalanced (with RCA/phono plugs). When power cords are wired in parallel of signal cables or when a signal cable is coming from or going to a phono stage, it's highly recommended to use Current Conductor cables. Because the total resistance is linearly proportional to the cable length, the low resistance of our Current Conductor can also work in your advantage when using over large distances. POWER SUPPLY POWER CABLES AUDIO TOOLS Mains Multipliers, Special filters & Ultimate protection EMC Shielded, Pure OFC stranded wiring & Increasing soundstage Sound Saver, Pulse Protection & Noise Eater Designed for the eye Engineered for your music It's all in the name, very Essential Audio Tools for your hi-fi. Better reproduction means more involvement, that is why our products are focused on the power supplied to your equipment. Only when good care is taken for the power supply, you will benefit from all details in your music. For example, stray-fields and spikes coming from external (non-audio) equipment can be noticeable. Also, having no earth or having a low quality earth, can be very harmful. The use of good quality power cords (with well-designed screening), multiple sockets (with star-wiring), checking out the phase of your mains supply and equipment and a good filtering gives the music a neutral sound and opens up many details. Our 'tools' are very well-designed and manufactured. Have a look at our products and visit one of our dealers to arrange a listening session. You will be surprised! Current Conductor HC Current Spyder L Transmitting power through cables At the core, a cable is a bunch of braided strands of metal - usually copper - that's capable of conducting an electrical signal. The cable is coated with an outer jacket of plastic insulation and - in the case of state-of-the-art cables - additional layers of shielding, which is designed to keep the electricity in and prevent radio waves or other electromagnetic sources from interfering with the signal. In a perfect world, a cable would conduct current perfectly, but in reality the metal in power supply wires generally creates a certain amount of resistance, which means that not all the electricity gets through. Consequently, the sound that comes out of your speakers isn't as true to the recording as it could be. The longer the wire, the resistance increases. One way to cope with this problem is to use a thicker gauge of wire, which increases the wire's ability to conduct electrical current. For the Current Conductor S we use 3x 0,75mm2 multi-stranded OFC (Oxygen Free Copper). The L, -HC and Current Conductor Spyder 3x 2,5mm2 multi-stranded OFC and the Current Conductor 8 2x 1mm2 multi-stranded OFC. Current Conductor 8 Current Conductor S Current Conductor L Current Conductor HC In addition to our Current Conductor series, we've also manufactured the Myni Conductor series. These cables are specifically designed for our Mains Multiplier Myni but can also be used for other applications for best results. To connect the Myni to your equipment three cables are available; the Myni Conductor 8 (MC 8), the Myni Conductor Euro coupling (MC Euro coupling) and the Myni Conductor IEC (MC IEC). These types share the same cable as the Current Conductor S and the Current Conductor 8. The MC 8 and MC IEC have an IEC C14 to connect to the Myni. The MC Euro coupling has a CEE 7/16 plug ("Europlug") on the other end, enabling users to connect power adapters from devices to the Mains Multiplier Myni. Myni Conductor Euro coupling Myni Conductor IEC Myni Conductor 8 Implemented specialized characteristics To achieve the perfect audio listening world we've focussed on improving the following aspects of the power supply cord: Conductivity : You want a cable that transmits electrical current with as little resistance, or degradation, as possible. For the best results, use oxygen-free, multi-stranded copper cable (OFC). Generally the rule is: the thicker the cable, the better, especially if you're going to stretch the cables over a distance of more than a few feet. Shielding : You don't want other sources of electromagnetism to junk up the signals transmitted to your speakers. So we've implemented two shielding layers under the insulation, the first is an aluminium foil, the second a tinned copper braided shield. Connectors : The part of the cable that plugs into wall sockets, Mains Multipliers and (audio) equipment. The connectors are chosen for their extremely low electrical resistance. Where to use? If it is up to us, everywhere! When power cords are wired in parallel of signal cables or when a signal cable is coming from or going to a phono stage, then placing the Current Conductor is strongly recommended. Important to know is which connector is required for your equipment. We use five kinds of connectors; IEC C13, IEC C14, IEC C19, IEC C7 and the CEE 7/16 Euro coupling. IEC C13 IEC C14 IEC C19 IEC C7 CEE 7/16 Euro coupling Because the total resistance is linearly proportional to the cable length, the low resistance of our Current Conductor can also work in your advantage when using over large distances. When in doubt: just contact us . We will be pleased to answer your questions. What to expect? The result of experimenting with our power cords can vary from small changes to big surprises. The most heard improvement is the quietness in silent parts of the music, as well as more noticeable details and more holographic soundstage. A high quality recording with on average a low volume and high dynamics will benefit most from the lowered background noise. This background is most described by our users as "dark" and "deep". For optimal results our power cords work best in combination with our Mains Multipliers . Clever thinking! The idea is simple: a power cord with at one end a single power plug and at the other end three cables with IEC connectors. These three cables have a length of 20, 30 and 40cm or 3x 40cm, so if you have a stacked set of equipment the Current Spyder L will hang down without taking a lot of space behind your set. The result: reduced cable mess and much better performance. The Current Spyder L (on purpose with y, just because we like it) is equipped with a Pulse Protector to protect your valuable system. The primary cable is available in two lengths (75 and 150cm) and the secondary cables are available in lengths of 20, 30 and 40cm or 3x 40cm. So when ordering a Current Spyder L you can choose from four types. Use Case Current Spyder Anker OUR products2
